As a life long resident I am very proud to be serving the citizens of Kane County. My family and I love this area and everything it has to offer. I strive to work with the community to provide the highest quality law enforcement services to the citizens of Kane County. We respect the diversity of our citizens by serving all people fairly and equally. Law enforcement is an honorable and noble profession. We expect all those who represent our agency, both sworn and civilian, to exhibit the highest level of professionalism.
Our Responsibilities:
Kane County Sheriff's Office is responsible for all Patrol, Investigations, Emergency Services, Judicial/Civil, Court Security, oversee the County Jail , manage search and rescue operations and other specialized duties according to Utah code 17-22-2. Kane County Sheriff's Office provides service to the all communities located within our county, as well as, multiple recreation and canyon areas throughout our county.
Kane County Sheriff's Office also assists rural agencies within our jurisdiction and those surrounding it. Deputies receive extensive training, not only in being extremely competent in police skills, but also in conducting themselves in a professional manner that fosters a good harmonious relationship with the community. We understand that to be truly effective public servants we must have the help and cooperation from citizens who know their community and neighborhoods better than anyone.
